Email client settings (IMAP, POP3 and SMTP)

Use these settings in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or your phone for a mailbox hosted on your cPanel account:

  • Username: the full email address (for example info@yourdomain.com)
  • Password: the mailbox password
  • Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • IMAP: port 993 with SSL/TLS (recommended - keeps devices in sync)
  • POP3: port 995 with SSL/TLS
  • Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com, port 465 with SSL/TLS (or 587 with STARTTLS)
  • SMTP requires authentication with the same username and password

Replace yourdomain.com with your domain. You can also open Webmail from cPanel (Email Accounts → Check Email) and use Configure Mail Client for automatic scripts.
